dragonfly etching selected for British exhibition

The etching moondreamer, from the dragonfly diaries suite. has been selected to be part of the 8th British International Mini Print Exhibition. There were 1100 entries from over 30 countries, with just 200 selected! I saw this exhibition in 2007 when I was in the UK. North coast artist Darren Bryant had work selected that year so I made a point of going via Hull, where it was on show, to see it. I was on my way north from Stoke-on-Trent to Edinburgh for the opening of an exhibition of my etchings there. It was worth the detour. An interesting and diverse selection of artwork in a gallery space that was a former rope making factory.

I'm absolutely thrilled to be selected as you can imagine, and thanks to Darren for the inspiration.

The exhibition will begin its tour in April 2012 at the London Print Studio and will be shown at various venues around the UK over a two year period. As soon as I have dates and places I'll post them. (Maybe I'll even have to go there for the opening or something... now that's an idea worth considering!)
