"small milestones" exhibition 75 George St The Rocks October 2011

I can't even begin to describe how HUGE that two weeks was. It was the best exhibition yet: the space was amazing, the position was stunning (163 steps from the water at Circular Quay) the people friendly, the support astonishing. I've got home to Lismore and collapsed in a bit of a heap, because it was tiring for all the exhilaration. With the value of hindsight, it is becoming even more jewel like. Tomorrow I'll post some photos of the launch function, but today here are some pictures of the installation and the site.

This might be a good time to thanks some of the people who were instrumental in having this happen. Stephen Nelson from Lismore's Art in the Heart who organised the whole thing would be a good place to start... but as I began I realised that the list is enormous. I'll get back to that, too, tomorrow. So thankyou, for a start, Stephen for your enthusiasm for this project and getting it off the ground for us all.

And I'll let the photos speak for themselves. ( if you hold your cursor over the photos some of the caption will become apparent - there's always more to every narrative, especially when the captions are too long for the program that is putting them up !).

Enjoy... and see why it was such a joy to display my work in this site.
